3.4.4 SFL-C-0004 (Group Project 2 – Old Perkins – Highland Road Area Sewer<br />

Upgrades)<br />

Project Description<br />

Purpose of the Project/Project Background<br />

The following pump stations will be replaced in this project: PS 182, PS 223, PS 327, PS 353,<br />

PS 278, PS 372, and PS 365. The new pump stations will work in conjunction with forcemain<br />

upgrades in other South Forced Lower Basin projects to alleviate chronic SSOs at and near<br />

these pump stations.<br />

The upgrades will also allow the pump stations to handle future peak wet weather flows that<br />

are predicted by the model to exceed the existing maximum capacities.<br />

Location<br />

Table 3-19 and Figure 3-32 show the locations of the pump stations in this project. These<br />

pump stations are generally located in the area of Jefferson Highway and Highland Road.<br />

Scope<br />

Table 3-19 shows the detailed scope of this project.<br />
