Kömmerling Ködimelt IG
Ködimelt IG is a solvent-free, one-component, hotmelt,
butyl-based sealant developed for the manufacture
of insulated glass units. Ködimelt IG functions as a
secondary seal in dual-seal systems and can be used
in conjunction with a PIB primary sealant such as GD115.
Features
• Good adhesion to glass, aluminium and galvanised or stainless steel
• Processing temperature with melting equipment +170°C to +180°C
• Easy application with no loss of material or waste disposal issues
• Flushing or purging of melting equipment is not necessary
• Extremely low moisture vapour transmission rate and good gas retention

Tremco JS334
JS334 is a solvent-free, one-component, hotmelt butylbased
sealant specially developed for the manufacture
of insulated glass units. JS334 functions as the outer
barrier or secondary seal in either single or dual-seal
systems. JS334 can be used in conjunction with a PIB
primary sealant such as JS680 for dual-sealed units.
Features
• Excellent adhesion to glass, aluminium, galvanised steel and warm edge spacers
• Very fast handling of insulating glass after cooling down (a few minutes)
• Easy application with limited waste and no need for metering
• No cleaning or purging of dispensing equipment required
• Very low moisture vapour permeability
