IPA & MEK Solvents
Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) are
solvents that act as “degreasers” to remove oils and other
contaminants used in the fabrication process. As a more
aggressive solvent, MEK should be used for glass and
anodised aluminium whereas IPA can be used on powdercoated
aluminium substrates without removing the coating.

GMS Aluminium & Glass Cleaner is a professional-strength,
ready-mixed aluminium and glass cleaner is formulated
to give excellent cleaning results on both aluminium and
glass surfaces. It can be used as full concentrate or diluted
depending on the level of contamination.
