Getting there // Odda train station is 8 miles (13km) from Skjeggedal. Bergen
airport is about 80 miles (130km) to the west of Odda. Public transport to the
trailhead is limited. A bus runs in July and August, and taxis can be hired at Odda
train station. Some hotels and hostels also offer transport.
When to go // June to September.

More info // Trolltunga Active (www.trolltunga-active.com) run a range of guided
hikes, including snowshoe walks in winter. Good walking boots and waterproof
clothing are essential, and it’s wise to leave the hike for clear weather, as
trailfinding can be tricky in heavy cloud and fog.
