BECOME A MUNRO BAGGER

The Munros are a list of Scottish mountains over 3000ft (914m), compiled by Sir

Hugh Munro in 1891. Those aiming to climb all 282 peaks are called baggers. Ben

Nevis is many people’s first (and only) Munro, but accessible peaks like Ben

Lomond (3195ft/974m) are good starting points. Many finish on Ben More, on the

Isle of Mull, dipping their boots in the sea before walking the entire 3069ft (966m)

to the summit.
