After alignment, the cellular units are attached to the decking
before the placement of concrete for the floor slab. Figure 12-12 shows
the installation of a floor cellular system.
Selecting the Proper Panel Unit for Cellular-Steel
Floor Systems
Several manufacturers produce units having properties similar to
those presented in the preceding section. Because a variety of panel
units of cellular-steel panels is available, it is necessary to select a section
that has adequate strength and stiffness for a given condition.
