and shoes. An all-steel soffit panel, which is typically 12 ft long, is
supported by two sets of pipe struts and shoes. The soffit panel is
designed to allow the slab edge form to be bolted down from the top,
and is adjustable for various width overhangs. The slab edge form
adjusts for superelevation with the adjustable-height steel chamfer.
A crane-handled C-hood is used to set and strip the overhang form
units.
The bridge deck forming system has an all-steel adjustable and
reusable form that eliminates most of the costly cutting and fitting of
plywood forms between steel or concrete bridge girders, which reduces
scrap and scrap removal costs. It is adjustable for various girder depths
