Figure 17-8 illustrates a deck form that permits the use of metal,

plywood, or fiberglass pans and pan joist systems for concrete floor

slabs. The pans remain on the flying deck forms and are flown intact

with the deck forms to the next higher floor level. A large variety of

types and sizes of pans is available, as presented in Chapter 12.

Figure 17-9 illustrates one method of joining two modules with

the framing installed to cast a concrete beam with the concrete slab.

This forming system is used when casting a large beam or girder.

Figure 17-10 illustrates a form arrangement that can be used to cast

a concrete spandrel beam.
