support, with green, rod-like, overhanging shoots; small leaves
opposite, sometimes in threes opposite; flowers bright yellow,
single and axillary on previous year´s shoots, appearing often
in December, otherwise February/March - one of the loveliest
winter flowering plant. St. Zone 7a.

____ A small shrub, 0.8 to 1.5 m tall, with multiple shoots and suckers;

flowering season is also possible - an undemanding flowering
