____ Up to 12 m tall tree; glabrous cinnamon-coloured bark, peeling<br />
off in flakes and fading away when touched; leaves trifoliate, on<br />
the top dark green and mostly bluish-green on the underside,<br />
turning magenta in autumn; flowers are yellow - undeniably the<br />
most beautiful amongst the trifoliated species due to its attractive<br />
bark and foliage; an effective specimen tree. S. Zone 6b.<br />

____ A small tree, up to 8 m tall, with a dense, compact growth and<br />
rounded crown. Leaves about 4 cm wide, rough and leathery,<br />
entire to finely toothed, glossy dark green above, grey to bluish<br />
green below, turning golden yellow in autumn; leaf stalks 3-5 cm<br />
long. Flowers yellow-green, appearing end of April to early May<br />
as hanging racemes. Fruits, striking bright red up to 2.5 cm long.<br />

____ A graceful, between 3 to 5 m tall, slow growing shrub with bright<br />
red sprigs; leaves are fresh green and deeply cut with long-lasting<br />
carmine foliage in autumn - much more elegant and stronger<br />
