____ A small, 6 to 8 m tall, broadly growing tree, with corkscrew-like<br />

branches and shoots, very bizarre yet interesting looking; shoots<br />

with yellow-green bark; leaves narrowly lanceolate, twisted spirally<br />

- as specimen, for large troughs, for wreaths and bouquets.<br />

____ A low, up to 100 cm tall shrub, with numerous slender shoots,<br />

building a dense, semi-rounded bush; leaves silvery-grey, narrowly<br />

lanceolate - an undemanding willow, tolerant to salinity,<br />

suitable for low hedges and mass planting, valuable for wreaths<br />

and bouquets; was awarded `Excellent` during the federal cultivar<br />

trials in Germany in 1992. B, H, St, Z. Zone 5a.<br />
