branching shoots; leaves rough, elliptic to narrow, egg-shaped;<br />

large, reddish bracts; fruits crimson to black, subtended similarly<br />

by the bracts - an undemanding plant, suitable for planting in<br />

appearing from December to April; fruits red - originated from<br />

the botanical garden of Darmstadt, Germany; an extraordinary,<br />
