____ An upright-growing shrub, reaching man´s height, with very fine,
densely growing, delicately overhanging shoots; flowers appear
in abundance along the shoot, in April/May before leaf break
in clusters - suitable for planting in groups and free-growing
hedges. H. Zone 5a.
betulifolia - White Spiraea
____ A dense, bushy, 0.5 to 1 m tall shrub; shoots bronze-red; leaves
broadly ovate to elliptic, dark green above, grey-green underneath;
flowers white, borne in dense, 3 to 6 cm wide, corymbs in
June - a hardy, very lovely plant due to its dark green foliage,
very popular in Scandinavia. B, H, K, R, Z. Zone4.

____ A small, compact-growing shrub, up to 80 cm tall; leaves ovate,
dark green, leaves remind one of birch; flowers white, appearing
in June in corymbs - a Swedish elite selection that excels due to

`Very Good` during the federal cultivar trials in Germany in 2000.
