____ A deciduous, fast-growing, up to 3 m tall shrub, loosely-branched
with strong shoots; leaves 3 to 10 cm long, oval to lanceolate;
flower buds deep pink, later lighter-coloured flowers, with
a strong fragrance, appearing already in November/December,
with the rest in March - a remarkable, lovely plant that blooms
even before spring. S. Zone 6b.

shoots covered densely with brown felt; leaves oval to elliptic,
4 to 7 cm long, glossy deep green above, greyish-green and
downy below; flower buds rosa, later white when blooming, with
a strong fragrance, appearing in March/April, with a regular second
flowering season in autumn - a valuable, ornamental shrub
with little demands on its growing conditions. S. Zone 6b.

____ A deciduous shrub, reaching man´s height, with strong, loosely
growing branches; leaves up to 12 cm long, turning red in autumn;
flowers pure white, with a strong fragrance, borne in April/
