____ A tightly upright-growing, up to 1.5 m tall shrub; flowers slightly<br />

reddish, borne in elongated racemes; fruits very thick, white,<br />

borne in erect racemes - a superb plant for hedges, tolerant to<br />

orbiculatus (= vulgaris, giraldii) - Coralberry, Indian Currant<br />

____ 1 to 2 m tall, at first tightly upright-growing, later overhanging,<br />

densely growing shrub; leaves ovate, dark green, turning often<br />

reddish in autumn; flowers greenish-red, borne in dense, auxiliary<br />

clusters; fruits magenta, round, and long-lasting - especially<br />

____ A wide and upright growing cultivar, 2 to 2.5 m tall. Leaves oblong,<br />

reddish as new shoots. Flowers white, middle large, strongly<br />

scented, borne in panicles in May/June. This denseflowering<br />

cultivar belongs to one of the three best cultivars of S. prestoniae<br />

hybrids, originated in 1970 by O.M. ROGERS, USA. S. Zone 4.<br />

borne in May/June in 15 to 30 cm long, loose, slightly hanging<br />

panicles - a lovely, free-flowering, ornamental shrub, suitable for<br />

____ An upright-growing shrub, 3 to 5 m tall, with loose, overhanging<br />

branches; flowers lilac-red, appearing in May/June - a very recommendable<br />

cultivar, colour of flowers much more intensive<br />
