____ Up to 2 m tall compact shrub originating from North America;
leaves oval, 4 to 8 cm long, dark green above and greyish hairy
beneath with fiery red autumn colours; flowers pinkish-white in
umbellical racemes in May/June; fruits are bright red, edible, numerous,
appearing decoratively from September till December
- undemanding, lovely plant as specimen or for group planting
on all sites. H, K, R. Zone 5b.

m high; leaves are elliptic and dark-green, the young shoots are
reddish, autumn colours (end of october) are yellow-brown to
red; the little white flowers appear in April/May; the numerous
graceful fruits are black-purple colored and have a diameter of 1
cm; 100 g fruits contain a high concentration of healthy antioxdative
anthocyane; robust, healthy and very hardy shrub for fruit
harvest; suitable in groups and for hedges. H, K, R. Zone 5b.
