(57)Abstract<br />

The <strong>patent</strong> addition is an enlarged and improved version <strong>of</strong> earlier <strong>patent</strong> 587/CHE/03. Here we have made use <strong>of</strong><br />

fluorescence emission spectra <strong>of</strong> extracts <strong>of</strong> formed elements <strong>of</strong> blood and urine and also <strong>the</strong> synchronous spectra <strong>of</strong><br />

plasma and urine. All <strong>the</strong>se have been used to measure <strong>the</strong> relative concentration <strong>of</strong> cancer specific fluorophores like<br />

prophyrin, NaDH, bilirubin, rib<strong>of</strong>lavin and tryprophane. From <strong>the</strong>se relative concentration, <strong>the</strong> healthy and cancer<br />

diseased subjects were discriminated. Fur<strong>the</strong>r, among <strong>the</strong> diseased, different stages <strong>of</strong> cancer was assessed. A<br />

ma<strong>the</strong>matical model and suitable s<strong>of</strong>tware gives disease diagnosis <strong>of</strong> different type <strong>of</strong> cancer in any part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> body<br />

with 80% reliability. This instrument and technique is completely original and novel and will be <strong>of</strong> great use for mass<br />

screening <strong>of</strong> cancer in any health centers and mobile camps.<br />
