transparent plastic “blister” sealed toge<strong>the</strong>r. The method <strong>of</strong> manufacturing <strong>the</strong> surgical blade package includes <strong>the</strong> steps <strong>of</strong><br />

providing a molded piece and a surgical blade, attaching <strong>the</strong> surgical blade onto <strong>the</strong> molded piece, such that <strong>the</strong> surgical<br />

blade is restrained mechanically, providing a pouch or o<strong>the</strong>r container receiving <strong>the</strong> molded piece and <strong>the</strong> surgical blade<br />

attached <strong>the</strong>reto, sealing <strong>the</strong> container, and sterilizing <strong>the</strong> container with <strong>the</strong> surgical blade and molded piece <strong>the</strong>rein..<br />
