(57) Abstract: The present invention discloses a tablet comprising at least two distinct segments, wherein one
segment comprises predominantly cetirizine, and a portion of pseudoephedrine, wherein the other segment
comprises predominantly pseudoephedrine as active ingredients, alongwith pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or
excipients. The invention also discloses the process for the manufacture of the tablet. Further the invention also
describes the use of the tablet for the manufacture of a medicament for preventing or treating allergic disorders or
conditions associated with rhinitis, cold, flu, cold-like and flu-like symptoms, and allergic rhinitis, relief of nasal
congestion, seasonal rhinitis, sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular pruritis, redness of the eyes, tearing and
sneezing.
