(57) Abstract:
A cylinder type machine for screen—printing on sheets of paper or
the like flexible materials throughout the surface, being equipped
with a sheet feeding device comprising a sheet transfer roller
frictionally rotatable on a rotating printing cylinder to transfer said
sheet to be printed to said printing cylinder, a sheet transfer plate to
bring the sheet in contact to said sheet transfer roller in a
synchronized manner. A printing screen mounted slideable above a
printing cylinder. The cylinder rotatably works as a support for the
sheet to be processed by clamping the sheet on its rotating peripheral
surface by means of vacuum suction. The movement of the printing
screen is synchronized with the bi—directional) alternating rotation of
the cylinder. A print ejector device is positioned at the print delivery
side of the cylinder. A tilt able printing bridge is stationary,
containing a squeegee and a flood—coater, situated above the
printing screen to process the blank sheet by pressing the ink and
to distribute the ink on the printing screen throughout the printing
area accordingly.
