(72) Name of the Inventor:
JAYANT MANOHAR
(57) Abstract: The invention aims at manufacturing yarn from staple fibres with open end spinning technology
but with most appreciable desirable ring yarn characteristics. All the benefits of open end spinning technique are
intact but yarn characteristics are modified with respect to strength, number of fibres in the cross section, twist
level on par with that of ring yarn and wide subsequent application similar to ring yarn. The false twist is kept at
bare minimum level by bending the yarn tail inside the rotor so as to approach the assembled fibre co-axially. By
co-axial approach of the yarn the twist transfer from the yarn tail to the fibre is almost cent precent thereby
achieving spinning stability. A suitable piecing technique is initiated to derive necessary yarn loop/locus for
initial piecing operation, in the yarn tail before meeting with the rotor periphery.
