(57)Abstract
This invention relates to a drive system for driving the drafting rollers. An intermediate drivable shaft is connected
to the front drafting roller by means of a ribbed endless poly V belt through pulleys. A second endless poly V belt
connects the front drafting roller and the middle drafting roller through pulleys. The first and second endless belts are
provided with adjustable tensioners.
This drive system provides uniform and smooth driving of the drafting rollers resulting in improved draft sliver.
