(57) Abstract
Coated abrasives suitable for very fine abrading applications can be obtained by depositing a layer of a formulation
comprising abrasive grits,fillers,grinding aid, additives and a binder resin on a substrate,treating the formulation to
increase the viscosity and render it plastic but non-flowing,embossing a suitable pattern on the surface of the layer,
and then curing the binder component of the formulation.
