ABSTRACT<br />
This dissertation has as its purpose to investigate how the New Hermeneutics<br />
of phenomenologic and ontologic orientation, proposed by Martin Heidegger and<br />
syst<strong>em</strong>atized by Hans-Georg Ga<strong>da</strong>mer, has dialogued with Hans Robert Jauss’ and<br />
Paul Ricouer’s reception theories. For this, one has analyzed the ideas developed by<br />
Hans Robert Jauss, through his Aesthetics of Reception, in Germany, as well as by<br />
the French philosopher Paul Ricouer, particularly in his Hermeneutics of Symbols.<br />
The goal of this research, therefore, is to show how the theories of reception have<br />
<strong>em</strong>placed th<strong>em</strong>selves related to the changes that this revolution of thought has<br />
promoted towards the conceptions of sense, comprehension, interpretation,<br />
“method”, ontology and t<strong>em</strong>porality.<br />
