The Bell & Howell Series Figure 3-6 illustrates the Eyemo<br />

Camera <strong>for</strong> 35 mm film. This is driven by a spring motor and is<br />

used considerably by professional newsreel cameramen <strong>for</strong> action<br />

shots and special events where synchronized sound is not required<br />

and a-c mains are not available.<br />

The actual camera mechanism appears to be very small com-<br />

pared with the magazine<br />

and lens turret. The smaller three-lens<br />

turret on the right is the view-finder turret, and the corresponding<br />

objective lens is selected <strong>for</strong> each film lens. Note how large the<br />

35 mm lenses are compared to 1 6 mm lenses.
