in four recognised NCS subjects<br />

2007 version and the<br />

‘‘Plan Your Future’’ summary<br />

guide on Higher Education<br />

(HE) admission requirements,<br />

translated into English, Afrikaans,<br />

isiXhosa, isiZulu and<br />

Sesotho. All these documents<br />

have been distributed to<br />

schools, circuit districts/regional<br />

and circuit <strong>of</strong>fices.<br />

(ii) Over and above the provincial<br />

circulars, flyers and posters and<br />

other media broadcasts, the information<br />

is also available on<br />

the Department <strong>of</strong> Education<br />

and National Information Service<br />

for Higher Education<br />

(NiSHE) websites. This information<br />

is also available at all<br />

provincial <strong>of</strong>fices, districts, circuits<br />

and schools.<br />

running a wind resource atlas<br />

programme; if so, (a) when did the<br />

programme start and (b) when will a<br />

comprehensive wind atlas be available<br />

to the public;<br />

whether there has been any delays in<br />

the programme; if so, what were the<br />

(1) (a) Yes, the programme started in<br />

May 2008.<br />

(b) The first publication <strong>of</strong> the wind<br />

atlas, covering coastal areas <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Northern, Western and Eastern<br />

provinces is planned for November
