6.5.4.2 The second exposure (Open mouth)<br />
<br />
CAUTION:<br />
During the emission of X-rays, the protection procedures for the operator<br />
and personnel in the area must be in compliance with the local<br />
regulations.<br />
In all cases, it is recommended that during the emission of X-rays, only<br />
the patient and operator be present in the room. If the operator is not<br />
protected by suitable screens, he must stand at least 1.5 meters away<br />
from the emission of the X-rays (see the Figure 1 and Figure 2).<br />
<br />
WARNING:<br />
Using the laser centering devices check that the system is still aligned<br />
with the patient's sagittal median plane.<br />
1. Press key "23" .The following message will be displayed:<br />

Check again that the exposure data are correct (see paragraph 6.5.2).<br />

NOTE:<br />
The Adult/Child and Size small - medium - large selection keys are<br />
deactivated. The exposure parameters can be changed as described in<br />
paragraph 6.5.2.<br />
Press the X-ray key "30" for the entire time of exposure, at the same<br />
time checking that the X-ray light "2" is lit (if the unit is in view) and<br />
that the X-ray signal sounds. The following message will be displayed<br />
first:<br />

and then (after 2 seconds), the following message will be<br />
displayed:<br />
