The big picture
In 2007, the KD Holding Group proved itself to be strong,
diversified and contemporary enough to rise to every
challenge in the interest of its customers, investors and
policyholders. Such opportunities clearly indicate the
importance of not only the portfolio of investments, but also
the diverse markets on which the globally ambitious regional
financial group operates today. Yes, it was a good year.
Those of you who know us will not be surprised that some
of the photographs in this year’s report go beyond the
typical format. With extended pictures and images that
stretch beyond the margins, we wanted to show that we are
exploring new dimensions and turning new pages. We do
not believe in the local stereotypes on the diverse markets
on which the KD Holding Group operates, but search for the
most incisive people and develop the most daring initiatives,
from ways of providing services to cutting-edge approaches
on an individual market. It is proven time and time again
that there are sometimes more similarities between the
streets of Sofia and Bratislava than between two street
corners in one Parisian quarter. And something else reveals
itself: that in our corner of Europe, an extraordinary history
has evolved; a valuable experience for the people, who
despite a turbulent and difficult past, have always known
how to handle money.
It is in this that I see the message of our operations in 2007.
We are a diverse Group: we respect the environment and
customs where we operate, but a global society demands
that we constantly introduce new dimensions. In this way,
new horizons are continually opening before us. We grow
and expand together with our users, with our customers.
This is growth that they can trust - and trust that grows.
Both the mission and the vision of the Group are derived
from the intertwining of responsible developmental growth
and partnerships with users, employees and owners.
Therefore, the Group, as a respected, modern and socially
responsible financial group, is already helping to shape the
future trends of financial services in Central, Southern and
Eastern Europe.
