Corporate social responsibility in 2008
The Group will continue to provide sponsorship for
culture, education and sport in 2008, in keeping
with our established policies.
In the area of donations and humanitarian activities,
our aims are even higher in 2008. The Group
established the AJDA Foundation back in 1995 to
support the financially and socially disadvantaged.
The purpose of the Foundation was to fund the
education of children of farmers and investors in
KD funds or their children and those with aboveaverage
results, but an under-privileged social
background. Careful monitoring of the situation
revealed that the Foundation’s original purpose
had become too narrow. We will continue to
support education, but with the establishment of
the KD Fundacija Foundation in 2008 we intend

to build on our previous objectives and set a wider
approach. The Foundation will fund talented youth
in various areas of schooling, science and sport who
have made progress in the aforementioned fields.
It will provide financial support for young people
from under-privileged families, providing them better
conditions for education. Via material and financial
donations, the Foundation will help less wealthy
regions of Slovenia to encourage and provide
education. In the event of natural disasters or other
extensive catastrophes, the Foundation will quickly
respond with financial support or other resources
in keeping with the needs of those affected. The
KD Fundacija Foundation will also be active in the
organisation of charitable campaigns for mobilising
material and financial resources.
