The assets of the KD Russia mutual fund are
primarily invested in equity securities and other financial
instruments traded on the markets of the Russian
Federation and the former Soviet Union.
The Russian stock market achieved several record
highs in 2007 and ended the year close to record
levels, as evidenced by the fund’s operations.
Despite international conditions still affected by
the US market, our expectations for 2008 are positive.
There are no shocks on the political stage, as the
presidential election in March 2008 went smoothly,
according to expectations. Although the prices of energy
and other commodities remain high, the country is
experiencing solid economic growth.
