Challenges in 2008:
The company’s greatest challenge in 2008 will
be the internal restructuring and modernisation of
the Kranj cinema centre, which by the middle of
2008 will offer visitors from the Gorenjska region
new forms of entertainment and a larger selection
of movies in three contemporarily equipped movie
theatres, pool hall and lounge;
only organiser in Ljubljana and the surrounding area
with the progressive Fort Knox system on twelve IGT
gaming machines. In addition to gaming machines,
guests of the gaming centre may visit the Copacabana
catering facility. More than 100 thousand guests
visited the Casino Rio gaming centre in 2007.
Operations in 2007
The company plans to sell the Kolosej property
in Celje;
In the area of cinematography, the company’s
aim is to increase the efficiency of operations and
maximise revenue-generating sources with existing
cinema multiplex centres and the Arena Vodafone
live entertainment centre.
The Casino Rio gaming centre with 200 gaming
positions opened on 31 March 2007 in the Arena
Vodafone live! entertainment centre.
Advertising for the gaming centre and the
organisation of prize competitions in 2007 were
extremely successful, as the centre attracted a large

The Casino Rio gaming centre is located in the
Arena Vodafone live! entertainment centre and offers
games of chance at 200 gaming positions, including
168 gaming machines from internationally known
manufacturers IGT; Aristocrat and Novomatic, as
well as 32 gaming positions on 4 electronic roulette
systems from internationally known Slovenian
manufacturers Elektronček and ICIT. Casino Rio is the
number of new guests.
Challenges in 2008:
In 2008, the company will begin converting games
(10 games in April and 10 games in September),
with the aim of increasing the frequency of visits and
maintaining the interest of the centre’s visitors through
new, attractive games;
The organisation of a VIP area for special guests,
where they will feel better and more relaxed;
Following the successful opening and start-up of
the gaming centre, the company will continue to ensure
the 24/7 availability of the system and implement the
necessary measures to comply with the requirements of
the Office for Gaming Supervision;
Introduction of EZ-Pay Playable tickets;
Purchase of the Ancient Chinese Secret progressive
system which will increase the company’s competitive
advantage over other games of chance organisers.
