We successfully responded to Slovenia’s first year
with the euro and increased the number of customers
on the growing domestic market and on all foreign
markets. We formed a new partnership in Romania,
started discussions in Serbia, and renewed our
partnership with the Bank of New York Group.
As part of the derivates portfolio, we offered
warrants and turbo-certificates listed on the Stuttgart
stock exchange.

The majority of our trading continued to be on
the domestic and Balkan markets and increasingly on

other foreign markets, primarily Hong Kong, the US
and Germany.
We offered customers investments on the new
markets of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, South Africa and
South Korea.
We successfully adapted to the new Financial
Instruments Market Act, and notified customers of the
new European MIFID directive.
Challenges in 2008:
To continue our successful cooperation with
existing customers and offer them additional
services (the provision of information with the help
of a strengthened analytical department);
To offer quality services to those new customers
wishing to be more active on all stock markets;
To successfully participate in a project of
establishing a bank.
We established ourselves as a new provider on
the private wealth management services market,
with assets under management totalling EUR 2.5
million and a market share at the end of 2007 of
over 2 percent (as at 31 December 2007).
We attracted a significant number of new
individual customers with the initial public offering
of a large Croatian telecommunications company.
In 2007, we almost doubled our revenues from
stockbroking, increased our market share on the
Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) to over 2 percent,
while increasing the relative volume of transactions
outside the Group.
At the end of the year, we witnessed a
major crisis on the market, which constricted the
investment fund and private wealth management
market.
