In March 2007, KD Capital Management
received trading licence from the National Securities
Commission. We achieved our objective to offer a
comprehensive range of services to KD customers in
Romania.
The number of private wealth management
customers increased by 125 percent compared to
2006, reaching 181, while assets under management
reached nearly EUR 5 million. Our most important
customers are from Romania, Slovenia, France, Greece
and Croatia.
We increased stockbroking revenues in 2007 by
more than six times, and achieved a position in the top
half of all stockbroking companies in Romania.
Through seminars, at which our analysts and
portfolio managers presented KD products and markets,
we improved recognition of the KD brand.
Challenges in 2008:
Our primary objective is to increase our portfolio of
private wealth management customers and to invest in
foreign markets in accordance with customers’ profiles
and expert management;
We will consolidate activities by attracting new
foreign investors, promoting KD products on foreign
markets and structuring new products such as initial
public offering projects;
Since the KD brand is already familiar to the
Romanian market, we will focus on increasing our
market share and developing a competitive advantage
on the capital market.
