Key events in 2007
January
The oldest Slovenian mutual fund, KD Galileo,
celebrates its 15th anniversary of operations. For all
Slovenian babies born on the first day of 2007, KD
Investments, Ljubljana, prepares a special present as a
part of the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the KD
Galileo mutual fund. They all receive, on the basis of an
application form, EUR 200 in units of the mutual fund
which was established on 1 January 1992.
The insurance companies KD Življenje and
Adriatic Slovenica develop and begin marketing
investment package life insurance which provides
a choice between three investment packages:
conservative, balanced and dynamic.
Under the sponsorship of KD Investments
from Bratislava and Gorenje, a delegation of ten
Slovakian reporters from major media: the daily
SME, the newspaper Hospodárske noviny, the
magazine Trend, two news agencies, a web portal,
the magazine Profit and the Slovakian national
television broadcaster, visit Slovenia.
February
The mutual funds KD MM and KD Rastko
receive “Gold V” awards, the former awarded as the
best money market mutual fund and the latter as
the best equity mutual fund in the group of
Europe-oriented funds.
Peter Grašek assumes the role of Business
Director of KD Holding. As business director, he is
primarily responsible for the operational execution
of KD Holding transactions and for monitoring the
operations of its subsidiaries which operate within
the KD Holding Group.
Vice President of Adriatic Slovenica’s
Management Board, Matija Šenk, assumes
leadership of Slovenica Življenje’s Management
Board. Gabrijel Škof assumes the function of Vice
President of the Management Board at Adriatic
Slovenica, with Milena Georgievski as member of
the Management Board.
Slovenica Življenje receives the ISO 9001:2000
certificate.

The number of customers who entrust KD BPD with
funds for private wealth management grows to 250.
Adriatic Slovenica introduces a new feature in
the area of automobile third party liability insurance
that offers the contemporary alternative of renewing
this type of insurance via the internet, and vehicle
registration renewal via the same channel.
Start of marketing of the product of Slovenica
Življenje and Adriatic Slovenica, life insurance AZIJA
GARANT PLUS, with investments in an index of six
equity hedge funds (dbX-Equity Select Asia Index)
and two equity mutual funds - HSBC GIF INDIAN
EQUITY and HSBC GIF CHINESE EQUITY.

formally open common business premises in the BTC
City shopping centre in Ljubljana.
