Chart 090 - Shutdown - Out Of Service Lamp Lit<br />

Display shows: BUCKET NOT OPEN<br />

One of the bucket solenoids failed to energize properly for a normal vend.<br />

Press the reset switch. Try several test vends from each of the three buckets. Does one<br />

cause a BUCKET NOT OPEN error message?<br />

NO<br />

Possible defective computer control center.<br />

OR<br />

Intermittent open connection in the V/O,<br />

R/B, Y/BR, or BL/W wires.<br />

YES<br />

Do all three buckets cause a BUCKET NOT OPEN error<br />

message?<br />

NO<br />

Check the wiring and solenoid<br />

associated with the bucket that<br />

caused the shutdown for an open<br />

connection.<br />

YES<br />

Check the V/O wire for open<br />

connections (J204 of the<br />

power control center to the<br />

dispenser).<br />

IF OK<br />

IF OK<br />

Replace the computer control center. See CAUTION.<br />

CAUTION:<br />

Installing a new CCC without determining the cause of the failure may destroy the new board. Use<br />

an ohmmeter to determine if it is safe to install a new CCC. If you use an ohmmeter, check for shorts<br />

(less than seven ohms) between the V/O wire, Y/BR, and BL/W or Ground.<br />
