Chart 100 - Shutdown - Out Of Service Lamp Lit
Display shows: BUCKET STAYS ON
One of the bucket solenoids was energized too long during a normal vend. Most likely,
there is an incorrect change load in one of the buckets.
Press the FUNCTION button. Does the machine shut down with the message "BUCKET
POWER ON"?
NO
Try several test vents from each of the three buckets.
Does one cause this shutdown?
YES
See chart titled "BUCKET POWER ON".
NO
YES
Possible defective CCC.
OR
Intermittent short from the R/B, Y/BR, or
BL/W wire to Ground.
Check the suppression diode and wiring
associated with the bucket that caused
the shutdown. NOTE: Disconnect the
bucket solenoid from the dispenser
when testing the diode.
IF OK
Replace the CCC. See CAUTION.
CAUTION:
Installing a new CCC without determining the cause of the failure may destroy the new board. Use
an ohmmeter to determine if it is safe to install a new CCC. If you use an ohmmeter, check for shorts
(less than seven ohms) between the V/O wire, Y/BR, and BL/W or Ground.
