The new environmentally advanced<br />
headquarters <strong>of</strong> the Swedish<br />
insurance company Länsförsäkringar<br />
i Kalmar län were designed and built to<br />
be green and energy-efficient, thereby<br />
achieving LEED Platinum certification −<br />
the highest level according to the LEED<br />
international environmental standard −<br />
as well as qualifying for EU GreenBuilding<br />
status. The 6,000 sq. m (65,000 sq. ft.)<br />
<strong>of</strong>fice building in central Kalmar, Sweden<br />
was completed in December <strong>2010</strong>.<br />
