Prerequisite: None.<br />
Introductory course in technical drafting including orthographic<br />
and axonometric projection, geometric construction, sketching,<br />
lettering, dimensioning, section conventions, with emphasis on<br />
industrial drafting standards.<br />

Study of auxiliary and oblique surfaces, intersections, detailing<br />
standards, fasteners, materials, and dimensioning, elements of<br />

Prerequisite: OFT 112 or concurrent with.<br />
Astudy of drafting in the electrical and electronic industry<br />
including components and their symbols, schematic and logic<br />
diagrams, printed circuit board layout and tape-up, silkscreen,<br />
detail and assembly drawings of P.C. boards.<br />

An introduction to the computer as adrafting tool. Multi-view.<br />
pictorial and electronic drawings will be completed using<br />

Prerequisite: OFT 112 or permission of instructor. <br />
Astudy of illustration and rendering techniques used to describe<br />
three-dimensional objects with special emphasis placed on<br />
graphic construction and the depiction of shade. shadow, and<br />
texture to assist the student in graphic communication.<br />

OFT 200* Drafting for Manufacturing/4 Units<br />
Prerequisite: OFT 112. GTC 101.<br />
Astudy of fabrication procedures, machine elements. and the<br />
influence of manufacturing on design, includes precision<br />
dimensioning and tolerancing, detail and assembly drawings.<br />
engineering change orders.<br />
