Acourse designed to make the student proficient in electronic<br />

calculator repair. The student will learn the electronic and<br />

mechanical theory of operation of all components of the<br />

calculator, and how to clean, service. relubricate and perform<br />

preventive maintenance inspections. Students will learn how to<br />

use hand tools, specialized gauges and test equipment, materials,<br />

parts and supplies in performing service procedures; and how to<br />

schedule maintenanre and allot maintenance task hours, with<br />

emphasis on the cost effectiveness of preventive maintenance<br />

instead of unscheduled maintenance.<br />
