Acourse designed to make the student proficient in electronic
calculator repair. The student will learn the electronic and
mechanical theory of operation of all components of the
calculator, and how to clean, service. relubricate and perform
preventive maintenance inspections. Students will learn how to
use hand tools, specialized gauges and test equipment, materials,
parts and supplies in performing service procedures; and how to
schedule maintenanre and allot maintenance task hours, with
emphasis on the cost effectiveness of preventive maintenance
instead of unscheduled maintenance.
