instructor's permission.<br />
Alecture focused on the operating systems of large FAR Part<br />
certified aircraft.<br />

Prerequisite: AMT 150 andlor 160, and/or 260, andlor 270. and/or<br />
275 or permission of instructor,<br />
This course, a proficiency course. is designed to upgrade a<br />
student's theoretical and physical proficiency in aviation subjects<br />
to level prescribed .:md to make-up missed hours in Phase I<br />
through V. Instructor will evaluate students on an individual basiS<br />
to assess their needs. their assigned subjects. hours, and units as<br />
required.<br />
AMT 290* Airfranlt and Powerplant Upgrade/6 Units<br />
Prerequisite: None.<br />
Areview of the total A&Pprogram curriculum designed for the<br />
military aircraft mechanic who has 30 or more months experience.<br />
Completion of the 90 hours of lecture·discussion for 6 units of<br />
credit (3 units airframe. 3unit.s powerplant) qualifies student to<br />
take FAA written. oral and practical examinations.<br />

required in the 43 subject areas of the aviation maintenance<br />
occupation as outlined in the FAA's Advisory Circular 65·20,<br />
Course not open to A&Pstudents.<br />
