Athletics<br />
<strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong> competes with other community colleges In<br />
conference baskotball, oaseball and women's basketball. Apache<br />
StronghOld is the center for intercollegiate sports. concerts, and a<br />
vanety of Intramural activities,<br />
RodlOTelm<br />
The <strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong> Rodeo Team competes with community<br />
colleges and univerSities in the Grand Canyon Region of the<br />
National Intercollegiate Rodeo ASSOCiation, which Includes<br />
Arizona and portions of Nevada and New MeXICO.<br />
Student Publications<br />
The 'Mirage: astudant literary magazine, IS publiShed once<br />
dunng the spnng :>emester The student newspaper. published<br />
penodlCally throughout each semester IS called "The Argus:<br />
Food Service Committee<br />
A Food Service Comm:t1ee made up of students. faculty, staff and<br />
professional food management personnel stnve to maintain<br />
quality 1000 programs for the campuS community.<br />
Housing and Dining<br />
The on-campus liVing program IS deSigned to encourage personal<br />
growth and development. The standards of behaVior established<br />
by the Department of HOUSing are Intended to comply with and<br />
help maintain the academiC enwonment of the <strong>College</strong>. All fulltime,<br />
unmarried students not reSiding With parents or other<br />
relatives, guardians or inends are encouraged to reside on<br />
campus and partiCipate in the dining program. HOUSing and dining<br />
services are combined: therefore. all reSldentlal students are<br />
automatically on the meai plan. UnmarneCI students reside In<br />
Chmcahua Hall (for WOmen) and Huachuca Hal! (for men).<br />
<strong>College</strong> and Housing Regulations<br />
Each reSident must Sign a ReSidence Hall contract agreeing to all<br />
the terms and condltlorlS of occupancy. On-campus residents are<br />
expected to comply With applicable rules and regulations as they<br />
appear In the ReSidence Hail ane Marned HOUSing contracts. the<br />
flApache GUide' Student HandOOok as well as local. state and<br />
federal laws.<br />
Dining Program<br />
The dining program Includes three meals each day, Monday<br />
through Friday. and two meals. each on Saturday and Sunday.<br />
Students have the option of taking most meals either In the<br />
Cafeteria or the Que Pas snack bar. Cafeteria dining Include$ a<br />
wide selection of foods and beverages offered each 31 on an<br />
"all you can eat" basis.<br />
Apartment Housing<br />
The <strong>College</strong> offers a limited number of furnished. married housing<br />
units. Prospective occupants must provide proof of marriage<br />
before apphcatio~s will be conSidered.<br />
Applications<br />
Students Interested in on-campus hOUSing are encouraged to<br />
apply early-preferably at least 60 to 90 days before the acadetThc<br />
term begins. HOUSing applications Will not be processed unless<br />
the prospective student has applied for admiSSion to the <strong>College</strong>.<br />

Student Responsibilities/Code of Conduct<br />
<strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong> assumes that men and women of college age<br />
are able and willing to maintain standerds of self-dISCipline<br />
appropriate to membership In acollege community. Students are<br />
expected to conSider the nghts of others and use mature and<br />
reasonable judgment concerning their actions while attendIng<br />
<strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong>. Students who bnng or use alcvhohc beverages<br />
or Illegal drugs on campus or In the reSidence halls are subject to<br />
dismissal from the college. In all cases of diSCiplinary actlOl'1.<br />
proper procedural safeguards are observed to Insure students 0'<br />
their right to fair and Impart1a treatment. All students are expected<br />
to abide by federal. state and loca! laws and the <strong>Cochise</strong> COllege<br />
Code of Conduct WhiCh 15 publiShed In the "Apache Guide" at the<br />
