Graduation requires acumulative grade point average of 2.00 or<br />
better for all college credit courseworK undertaken and for any<br />
worK satisfied through credit by examination.<br />
Where applicable, agrade point average of 2.00 or better for all<br />
college credit work undertaken in the Major Emphasis Area is<br />
required for graduation.<br />
Aminimum of one quarter of the total units required for each<br />
degree grCinted must be completed at <strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong>.<br />

Applications must be filed by October 22. <strong>1993</strong> for fal!· ~<br />
and by February 18. <strong>1994</strong> for spring graduation. Dates __<br />
to certfficate applications. If an application is late, adiploma wi<br />
not be ordered until the following order date. Diplomas wi be<br />
mailed after final grades are received and records evaluated. See<br />
your counselor as to what degree you qualify for.<br />
English· completion of ENG 101 with a'C' or better<br />
Math·6 units at any level or 3units MAT 120 and above; all<br />
with a'C' or better<br />
Minimum Reading Competencies for all associate degrees: 'M',<br />
'AS', 'AGS', and 'MS' Graduates must meet one of the following<br />
criteria:<br />
I. For Native Speakers of English<br />
• 12.0 grade level or equivalent on a<strong>College</strong> approved test.<br />
• completion of areading course with agrade of "C" or<br />
better in which competency for the course is 12.0 grade<br />
level or higher.<br />
• 3.0 cumulative GPA for courses at the 100 level or above<br />
at time of grad check.<br />
II. For Non·native Speakers of English<br />
• any of the above<br />
• aTOEFL score of 500 or above, inciudina at least a50 on<br />
Section 3reading. ~<br />
