GTC 110 Masonry 1/3 Units<br />
Prerequisite: MAT 005 and 010 or equivalent.<br />
An examination of the ma!;onry profession with an emphasis<br />
upon the use of masonry tools and the techniques of laying brick<br />
and block.<br />

GTC 111 Masonry 11/3 Units<br />
Prerequisite: GTe 110.<br />
Acontinuation of Masonry I, with emphasis upon the decorative<br />
and design possibilities of brick and block and upon the<br />
development of a smooth style of work with different types and<br />
patterns of brick and block.<br />

GTC 112 Masonry 111/3 Units<br />
Prerequisite: GTe 111.<br />
Acontinuation of Masonry II concentrating on the design and<br />
construction of various types of fireplaces and on decorative<br />
stone-work, arches and tlie.<br />

GTC 120 Concrete Construction and Finlsh/3 Units<br />
Prerequisite: None.<br />
Acombination of step-by-step layout and finish techniques with<br />
the theory of practical concrete formulation.<br />

GTC 121 Painting: Exterior and Interlor/3 Units<br />
Prerequisite: None.<br />
Student preparation for proficiency in patching, repaintint nd<br />
maintaining painted surfaces in the interior and exterior of building<br />
and structures with an emphasis on surface preparation, the<br />
selection of paints, their application and the safe and proper<br />
storage of all painting materials and tools.<br />

GTC 122 Air Conditioning Malntenance/3 Units<br />
Prerequisite: None.<br />
Acourse to prOVide the student with proficiency in inspecting<br />
trouble-shooting. repairing and maintaining air condilionlng and<br />
evaporative cooling systems with an emphasis on scheduling of<br />
seasonal maintenance, start-up and shut-down procedures.<br />
2 hours lecture: 4 hours laboratory.<br />
GTC 123 Electrical Maintenance and Repalr/3 Units<br />
Prerequisite: None.<br />
Acourse to provide the student with proficiency in maintaining<br />
trouble-shooting, and repairing existing residential and Industrial<br />
circuitry and equipment. The student will Install original cirCUitry In<br />
newly remodeled spaces or additions.<br />

GTC 124 Carpentry Maintenance and Repalr/3 Units<br />
Prerequisite: None.<br />
Acourse to provide the student with proficiency in maintaining.<br />
repairing, replacing, and remodeling existing or new building<br />
components including floor coverings, wall coverings. and glaZing<br />
GTC 125 Plumbing Maintenance and Repair/3 Units<br />
PrereqUisite: None.<br />
Acourse to provide the student With profiCiency in the<br />
maintaining. trouble-shooting. repairing, and replaCing of lIQUid<br />
