Special Admission Of Students Under Age<br />

Eighteen<br />

As prOVided In Arizona State Board of Directors for Community<br />

<strong>College</strong>s Student AdmiSSions Rule (R7,'·20) <strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />

will admit special students between the ages of 16 and 17 under<br />

certain conditions. The student. to benefit from the opportunity,<br />

must submit supporting documentat;on as required by the<br />

<strong>College</strong>. As a part of this docufT'~ntation. the student must:<br />

Admissions Committee will meet and review all materials and<br />

make arecommendation to the Director of Admissions and<br />

Records. After the Committee's recommendation, the ....'ector of<br />

Admissions and Records will make aruling and notify .. re student<br />

of the decision.<br />

a. Official score reports from either the Amencan <strong>College</strong> Test<br />

(ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) must be sent to<br />

the Admissions Office. The composite score (verbal and math)<br />

on the ACT must be at least 22 and the SAT minimum score<br />

that will be considered IS 930.<br />

b. Aletter of application by the student. to include an outline of<br />

classes In which the student intends to seek enrollment and<br />

must be co-signed by the parentIS) and or legal guardian must<br />

be submitted to the AdmiSSions Office.<br />

c. Appllcatlor. for AdmiSSion CO-Signed by the parent(s) andior<br />

legal guardian must be submitted to the Admissions Office.<br />

The Student must submit all requested documentation to the<br />

Douglas Campus Admission's Office SIX (6) weeks prior to the<br />

starttng date for the semester the student intends to matriculate<br />

When all requested documentation IS complete, an appointed .<br />
