2.3. Rationale for preparing the Project Strategy
This Project Strategy has been prepared for the following reasons:
· To provide a roadmap for the implementation of the Airport Master Plan and its
subsequent amendments
· To establish and maintain a central reference for those interested in understanding
the issues associated with implementing the Airport Master Plan and how they will
be addressed.
· To assist with business continuity is associated with staff and Councillor turnover
etc
· To satisfy SCRC governance requirements and other stakeholders that there is
planning rigour and a robust strategy in place to implement the Airport Master Plan
· To explore and document the issues associated with the project for reference by
associated program managers such as design, communications, risk and public
participation.
