9. Project Management
Project management will be conducted in accordance with Sunshine Coast Regional
Council requirements, which are yet to be formally documented. Until such policies,
procedures and guidance are published, legacy instructions from Maroochy Shire Council
are to be used.

Maroochy Shire Council Project Management Framework Guidelines provides a
methodology to be adopted in managing and reporting projects. This guidance is subject to
amendment or change pending review by SCRC.
The process to be followed for managing capital projects was under review at the time of
publishing of the Guidelines, and as Maroochy Shire Council no longer exists, SCRC will
need to provide such guidance. As the New Runway Project is a capital project, there is
currently no guidance as to how to manage a project such as this. In the interim, it is
proposed to use the corporate plan process until otherwise instructed.
Reporting of project outcomes will be quarterly, unless otherwise advised.
9.3. Project Management Deliverables
For each phase of the overall project, the following documents will be produced for
approval by the project owner and maintained for the duration of the project by the Project
Manager:

In addition to these primary project management deliverables, status reports and other
reports as required will be prepared by the project manager.
