9.4. Format
The Project Manager will prepare a Project Management Plan in accordance with MSC
Project Management Framework Guidelines and Project Management Plan Version 1 as
amended by SCRC policy and procedures and guidance (if applicable).
9.5. Approval
Project approval and amendment will be in accordance with the capital projects process (to
be issued).
9.6. Issue Management and Changes to Original Scope
When an issue arises that leads to a change of the scope of the original project or of
individual project management plans, it should be resolved through the appropriate
element of the Project Team.
Details of the changes, reasons for the change and authorisation to proceed with the
changes should be documented in the Project Status Report, so that an audit trail is left.
9.7. Review Cycle
The process for reviewing the project management plan will be determined on a project
basis, and incorporated in the relevant project management plan.
9.8. Contracts Strategy and Corporate Governance
For the establishment of contracts, reference is made to Maroochy Shire Council Contracts
Strategy and Governance website. Forms, procedures, processes and workflow diagrams
relating to the contract lifecycle are provided.
9.9. Engaging Consultants
Maroochy Shire Council has a policy on engaging consultants, which is to be used in lieu
of any further guidance by SCRC, to ensure the correct process is undertaken and correct
authorisation is received.
