10.7. Risk Treatments
Treatments for identified risks are outlined in the table at Appendix 2 – Risk Assessment,
and further amplified in the body of this Project Strategy.
10.8. Findings and Recommendations
The following findings and subsequent recommendations were made as a result of the risk
assessment:
· Risk treatments identified should be incorporated in planning documents such as
Project Management Plans, Marketing/Communication/Public Participation
Program as applicable.
· The Risk Management Framework in use with Maroochy Shire Council has
significant limitations regarding consideration of project risk, and should be
reviewed prior to wholesale acceptance or adoption by SCRC.
· Dollar amounts in financial consequence descriptors do not adequately reflect the
descriptors, and should be reviewed upwards. This will affect the assessed level of
risk for financial and project risks identified in the risk assessment.
