2.1.5 Internal Working Storage<br />
Internally, the Signetics 8X300 stores data in eight 8-bit read/write<br />
registers. These registers include registers RI through R6, RII and<br />
the Auxiliary register, RD. The Auxiliary register holds one of the<br />
operands used in two-operand instructions. As previously<br />
mentioned, an exact duplicate of the Auxiliary register data is also<br />
maintained in the Accumulator. This allows the Microcontroller to<br />
perform operations which use the Auxiliary register data as both<br />
operands. Register 10 stores the carry bit from addition operations<br />
in its LSB position. Because the LSB is the only bit used, RIO can<br />
only have one of two possible values - binary "1" or binary "0".<br />
