(...)On June 27, 1941, in the eve ning I was walk ing down CarolStreet with my wife when some one fired at me. Shots were firedin Buna Vestire Street as well, but no body was hit. A Ger man pa -trol ap proached me, and asked where the shots had come from,and I in di cated the di rec tion. While I con tin ued my walk I heard around of ma chine-gun fire; later I learned that the Ger mans hadex e cuted the Jews in one of the houses. /.../On June 28, I met Cap tain Capatana’s or derly on SpiridonieSquare; he was shoot ing at Jews.
